Quechee, VT – Halloween is on the way, and it is time for Hoots and Howls at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science Nature Center. On Oct. 28, all are invited to our annual celebration of snakes, owls, skulls and bones.
Costumes are welcome at this full-day, family-friendly event. Each portion of the day is designed to be educational, nature-based, non-frightening and fun. A campus decorated with jack-o-lanterns and activities all day will be sure to delight guests of all ages.
The evening portion of this event (5:30 to 8 p.m.) includes a guided tour through multiple stations on the Forest Canopy Walk where guests will enjoy stories, experiments, puppetry and a skit.
