Antoinette “Toni” M. Gratacos (Davis) NORTH CHARLESTOWN, NH -Antoinette “Toni” Mae Gratacos (Davis), 77, of North Charlestown, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023 just shy of her 78th birthday. Toni was born on December 18, 1945 in Claremont, NH. She was the youngest of five children born to Jack and Rosella (LaFlamme) Davis. A lifelong resident of Claremont, she was a graduate of Stevens High School and would be most remembered for her long tenures of employment with Dunkin Doughnuts and Wal-Mart. Antoinette was a caring and generous woman, known for her willingness to spark up a conversation and attempt to brighten someone’s day. She was affectionately known as “Toni” by many. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family & friends. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, crocheting, crafting, gardening, watching her favorite soap operas and completing word search puzzles. Toni was fond of listening to country music while baking and being a dedicated homemaker and supporter of her family to include her dogs. She enjoyed social activities being a long time member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion and volunteering with the youth of the New Hampshire Special Olympics. Toni is predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Frank M. Gratacos Sr., Son Richard Sylvester, her parents, Jack and Rosella , sisters Mary, Mona & Joann, her brother, John and her beloved dogs Buddy, Beatrice, Mickey & Dusty. As a mother, grandmother and aunt, she is survived by and will be greatly missed by her two sons, Frank M. Gratacos Jr. of Menifee, CA and Scott A. Gratacos of North Charlestown, NH, two grandchildren Adyn and Jeremiah, as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, Toni’s family requests that you consider making a donation to the New Hampshire Special Olympics, an endeavor that was very close to her heart. Visiting hours will be at the Stringer Funeral Home on Broad Street in Claremont, NH on Friday, October 20th, from 5 to 7pm.
