NEW LONDON, NH — The DEA’s Prescription Drug Take Back Day event will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. with participating police stations across the region.
If residents have any unused or expired prescription medications that you are looking to get rid of, do it safely by bringing them to one of the drop off locations that is listed below. These Take Back Day events help prevent substance misuse within the community, while also ensuring that residents are not contaminating drinking water by putting medication down the drain.
Participating locations in Greater Sullivan County will include Claremont CVS,Charlestown Police Department, Cornish Recycling Center, New London Police Department, New London Hannaford, Newport Shaw’s and Sunapee Police Department.
