CLAREMONT, NH — On Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, Claremont Christian Academy (CCA) hosted their first home cross country meet at Moody Park. What is now known as the Moody Mad Dash XC Invitational kicked off with a great start. The event included three schools that participated for this year; CCA, Newport High School and Mid-Vermont Christian School.
“This was a great way to finish the season for our eight runners,” said Fred Thompson, CCA head coach. “They ran against some of the best runners in New England throughout the season and competed well improving throughout practices and during races.”
The results of the Moody Mad Dash for the boys:
1st Place — Gabe Nilges — 21:47 — Claremont Christian Academy
2nd Place — Bryce Palmer — 22:24 — Newport High School
3rd Place — Noah Fryman — 23:03 — Newport High School
4th Place — Matthias Schaefer — 23:50 — Mid-VT School
5th Place — Wade Hector — 23:55 — Claremont Christian Academy
6th Place — Josh Jordan — 24:16 — Newport High School
7th Place — Michael Bohn — 24:17 — Newport High School
8th Place — Ezra Hector — 24:27 — Claremont Christian Academy
9th Place — John Henry Andrews — 24:34 — Claremont Christian Academy
The results for the girls race:
1st Place — Laethy Golden — 25:12 — Claremont Christian Academy
2nd Place — Anna Frisch — 32:04 — Claremont Christian Academy
3rd Place — Joanna Mellon — 32:40 — Claremont Christian Academy
4th Place — Hannah Golden — 33:12 — Claremont Christian Academy
