CORNISH — Ilsa Pinkson-Burke is holding her kids craft time from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. today, Saturday, at the Cornish Store. Drop in to do a Thanksgiving-themed craft and hang out. A mobile children’s library will be set up at the store. Email [email protected] to put in any requests.
At 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, adults will get their turn to craft at the Cornish Store during the monthly Adult Craft Night. Colleen O’Neill will be lead a class on how to turn greeting cards into cute gift boxes, perfect for the holiday season.
And for readers, a new shipment of books arrived this week at the library, including a guide to Cornish sites — from covered bridges and waterfalls to old homes.
Library hours are 4 to 6 p.m., Mondays; 3 to 6 p.m., Wednesdays; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursdays; and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The library will be closed Thursday, Nov 23, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
