SUNAPEE, NH — The Sunapee Lakers (1-1) came out of the games on a mission to control the ball better than they did in their first game of the season and they succeeded with a 49-35 victory Tuesday night, Dec. 5. The Lakers got tremendous defense from Brock Kangas that stifled the offense of Pittsfield (0-1) with vicious blocks and created multiple jump-balls with his hustle and tenacity.
The Lakers lost both Mike Seymour and Sam Goudet in the second half, but the bench was able to maintain the lead.
Pittsfield was limited in depth as only three players were able to score with zero points coming from the bench.
