Gloria A. Boardman UNITY, NH -Gloria A. Boardman of Unity died Nov. 27, 2023 at her home. Gloria was born Nov. 29, 1944 in Unity Center to Stuart and Irene (Simoneau) Stone. She was the widow of Paul E. Boardman Sr. whom she married Dec. 25, 1982, Paul passed on Oct. 19, 1987. Her surviving family includes: brother Stuart C Stone of Newport, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces. Predeceased by three sisters, Irene Williams of Newport, Shirley Brown of Unity, Bernice Clough of Unity, and Richard Robbins of Newport. Gloria had lived in Unity most of her life, she has worked at Hampshire MFG, Newport Clothing, Newport Shoe, also Bourdon’s Mattress for 13 years. She cleaned many houses for people, in addition to being a caregivers for her Mother and Father, then to her loving babysister Bernice before she went to Heaven. Gloria was in her glory when she was in a blueberry field. Gloria loved to dance, she and her sister would dance a lot together. Bernice often calling her a dancing fool. Bernice and Gloria were very close. Gloria was known far and wide on the CB, her handle was Lil’ Dipper, while her husband Paul was North Star. She will be missed by many.
