Jean B. Fellows Towle UNITY, NH -Jean Betty Fellows Towle passed peacefully at the Sullivan County Nursing Home on January 4, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born on November 4, 1945. She was raised in Bronx, NY with her 4 siblings. She married John Crowell, and they had two children, Jeannie Bailey of Charlestown, NH and John Jr Crowell who passed away at five years old. She moved to NH in the Late 1970’s. She loved the country and the peacefulness. She married Norman Fellows of Unity, NH. They had two children, Asa Fellows of Cornish, NH and Robin Fellows of Charlestown, NH. Her life revolved around her Faith, her children, and grandchildren. She later married Peter Towle of Unity, NH and spent the last thirty years with him. She had a love for gardening, you could find her out in her garden singing away. She even had corn and tomatoes growing on her fire escape when she lived in NY. She also loved to feed people. She would not let you leave hungry, and she just might send you home with a whole apple pie or a homemade loaf of bread. She spent forty years faithfully going to the Goshen Church. She has a large family and many friends who will dearly miss her. Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Friday, January 12th from 1 to 2PM. A memorial service will follow at 2PM.
