Timothy A. White

Keith McKane
Timothy A. White ALSTEAD, NH -Timothy A. White of Alstead, NH, passed away on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 at his home. He was 65 years old. Born in Bellows Falls, VT on March 16, 1959, to Wilfred and Claire (née Baldasaro). He spent his formative years in North Walpole, NH, graduating from Fall Mountain Regional High School in 1977. After wrestling chickens at Hubbard Farms for several years, he attended oil/heat training and received his certification. He spent over 20 years in the business, most notably as head of the Service Department for Stanwood Oil and managing the service department for Fleming Oil. He met his future wife, Ann, who had purchased, as he put it “the biggest wreck of a house I have ever seen” when installing the heating system. Even though the 1st winter was mighty cold, with only heat in the bedroom and an air handler tied to 150 ft of pex tubing that was on sawhorses that could be hauled from room to room, she married him anyway. Tim is very much remembered as a talented guitarist. Self-taught, he played in several bands over the years, including Onyx, Fade to Blue, and last but not least, the Stage Potatoes. He was extremely proud of the recording he and the Stage Potato members made of “California Dreaming” by the Mama’s and the Papa’s. He even put up with Ann when she decided to learn to play keyboards at the tender age of 59 by guiding her with timing and playing his guitar as accompaniment. He is survived by his wife, Ann, his mother, Claire of Keene, NH, his older brother Gary and sister-in-law Diane of South Stafford, VT, his younger sister, Darlene Pecor and brother-in-law Steve, of North Walpole, NH, his uncle and aunt, Bill and Kathy Baldasaro of North Walpole, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A remembrance and celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, June 29th at 2:00 pm at his home in Alstead.
