Senior Night: Bellows Falls versus Springfield

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — On Senior Day on Friday in Bellows Falls, the Terriers defeated the Springfield Cosmos in a five-inning mercy rule, 18-1. The Terriers scored early and often: five runs in both the first and second innings.

Izzy Stoodley went the distance in the circle for the Terriers. Amelia Munchie started for the Cosmos and was relieved by Kimber Consdine. The Cosmos’ only runs came on a solo blast over the center field fence in the second inning by Amelia Munchie. Several Terriers had multi hits, led by sophomore catcher Jaelyn Fletcher.

Bellows Falls finished the season at 11-5 and Springfield at 6-9.
