WALPOLE, N.H. — In American Legion Baseball, Bellows Falls Post 37 won their first game of the season over White River Post 84 on Tuesday evening at the Hubbard Baseball Park in Walpole, NH. The final score was 5-3.
Post 37 scored first with a run in the third inning. White River took the lead in the top of the fifth with two runs only to have Post 37 score four in the bottom of the fifth. White River added a run in the sixth inning. Jaden Bazin was the game winner; he was relieved by Matt Goss while John Farrell took the loss.
Bellows Falls improved to 1-8 and Hartford dropped to 8-4.
