BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — In well played a game on a warm but comfortable night at Hadley Field in Bellows Falls, Ludlow Post 36 defeated Bellows Falls Post 37 4-0.
Ludlow scored two in the sixth inning and added a bonus two in the seventh. Bellows Falls had opportunities including leave two on the field in the seventh.
Tanner Swisher was the game-winner; he was relieved in the seventh with two outs by Eli Boxer. Devy Cheeney went the distance for Post 37. Ludlow improves to 8-3 while Bellows Falls drops to 1-11.
