The Sugar River Valley Regional Technical Center has a new assistant director, as SAU 6 announced that Michelle Herrington has been appointed to the position.
Herrington, who was the guidance counselor at Bluff Elementary School, has a “wealth of experience and a strong commitment to educational excellence”, and according to a release by the district, she has dedicated her career to supporting students in their formative years. She has been committed to a “nurturing and inclusive” learning environment.
This new role will have Herrington directing her passion for education, collaborative spirit and dedication to student success to the Sugar River Valley Regional Technical Center. She will be working closely with the staff, as well as students and their families along the way.
Herrington is thankful for the “warm welcome” that she has received from the community. She is looking forward to getting to know everyone at the school this year.
“Together, we will strive to create innovative programs, enhance our technical offerings, and ensure that every student is equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in their future careers,” said Herrington. “I am excited about the opportunities ahead and am confident that, with your support, we will achieve great things.”
