SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Drop-in cornhole is every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Drop-in cribbage will be Aug. 28 at 9 a.m. Hand & Foot card games will be on Aug. 29 and Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. Knitting will meet on Sept. 5 and Sept. 19 at 1 p.m. Cards and games will be Sept. 5 and Sept. 20 at 1 p.m. Wizard card game will be Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. Nickel Bingo will be Sept. 13 and Sept. 25.
Ceramic classes will start on the week of Sept. 9. Gentle Mat Yoga (10 a.m.) will start on Sept. 9. Chair Yoga (9 a.m.) and Strength Training (10 a.m.) will start on Sept. 10. The Cribbage league will start on Sept. 11 (8:45 a.m.). Shuffleboard league (12:30 p.m.) on Sept. 12.
The Senior Center will be closed Aug. 30 and Sept. 2 for Labor Day.
Due to low sign up, the Lake Champlain Luncheon has been cancelled.
We will be having our annual Tree Farm Campgroup picnic on Sept. 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a potluck event.
Come hear the Charlestown Silvertones sing here on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. Mark Shelton will perform here on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 1 p.m.
We are now selling tickets for our September Calendar Raffle. The last raffle went so well last year, we have decided to have another one. Tickets are $5 each. You will have 30 chances per ticket to win.
We are still collecting food items for the local food shelves.
Appointments will be needed for the foot clinics. You can call the center to schedule one. In January, the price increased to $25.
