Officers’ names disclosed in Kensington shooting incident

CONCORD, N.H. – Attorney General John M. Formella announced the identity of the seven New Hampshire law enforcement officers who discharged firearms during a shooting incident on July 22, 2024 in Kensington, New Hampshire that resulted in the death of Anthony J. Previte (age 29). 

Those officers are Sergeant Peter Connor of the Portsmouth Police Department (approximately nine years of law enforcement experience); Sergeant Craig Forrest of the Durham Police Department (approximately 11 years of law enforcement experience); Officer Nicholas Glowacki of the Seabrook Police Department (approximately 14 years of law enforcement experience); Detective Robert Kenyon of the Hampton Police Department (approximately 17 years of law enforcement experience); Corporal Jay Pappalardo of the Hampton Police Department (approximately nine years of law enforcement experience); Officer Felix Siegels of the University of New Hampshire Police Department (approximately six years of law enforcement experience); and Sergeant Theodore Sierad of the Exeter Police Department (approximately seven years of law enforcement experience). 

At the time of the encounter with Previte, the above law enforcement officers were assigned to regional emergency response teams. During that encounter, Corporal Pappalardo fired a less-than-lethal projectile launcher, and the remaining officers fired rifles. 

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. It is anticipated that the report regarding the incident and whether the use of deadly force against Previte was justified will be released once the investigation is completed. No further updates are expected until the report is released.
