Fall Mountain Girl’s Soccer
The Fall Mountain Girls Varsity Soccer team picked up their second straight win to begin the season after defeating Kearsarge 2-0 in Langdon on Tuesday night.
Selah Fredrick got the scoring started for the Wildcats with a long-range goal just before halftime after a pass from Sophie Grillone.
Then five minutes into the second half, Mariella Tsitsonis finished just inside the box to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead.
The backline of Skyelar Blanchard, Clara Stewart, Emma Putnam, and Maddy Hawkins was superb as was the play of defensive midfielder Addey Royce.
Violet Colburn and Kendal Cote split time in goal to earn the shutout.
