BAREFOOT BAY, FL – On Thursday, August 15th, 2024, Kenneth Davis Mason, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 77.
Kenneth was born on August 25th, 1946, in Windsor, VT to Kenneth Edward and Virginia Ruth (Davis) Mason. Kenneth served four years in the U.S. Marines and in 1968 he married Darlene May (Smith) Mason. They raised their three sons, Kenneth Lawrence, Jason Alan, and Jon Christopher. In 1992, Jon lost his life while serving in the U.S. Army.
Kenneth went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Nathaniel Hawthorne College in Antrim, N.H. He worked several jobs before his employ at Coca Cola of New England for 25 years.
After retirement, Kenneth and Darlene sold their home in Springfield, VT and moved into a smaller home in Florida, where they both enjoyed playing golf year around.
Kenneth was predeceased in death by his father, Kenneth; his mother, Virginia; brother Charles; and his youngest son, Jon. He is survived by his wife, Darlene; his two sons, Ken, and Jason; grandson Devin; his sister, Amy; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A burial service will be held at a future date in Springfield, VT at Oakland Cemetery.
