PLAINFIELD, N.H. — Join the Plainfield Village Town Hall Committee in cooperation with the Discover Sugar River Region for an evening of wine and cider, engaging conversation and a mesmerizing light show showcasing the Maxfield Parrish Stage Set from 1916. The event takes place on Monday, Sept. 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Village Town Hall located at 1079 Route 12A. Refreshments will be provided from local farms and orchards.
Spanning an area of 528 square miles, the Sugar River Region is in Sullivan County in western New Hampshire. The region’s beautiful terrain consists of lakes, rivers, ponds, forests, several mountains and historic buildings and national treasures. The Sugar and Cold Rivers run through the region, and Lake Sunapee lies along the northeastern border. The Sugar River Region’s 14 towns, including Plainfield and Cornish, and one city form part of the region’s unique offering and reflect the region’s wealth of natural resources, manufacturing heritage, scenic views, recreational amenities and strong quality of life.
