CONCORD, NH– Jeannette (Jan) Neuman, 89 of Concord NH, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024.
She was born and raised in Claremont NH, the oldest of the five children of Sylva (Red) and Irene (Lafreniere) Limoges. She is survived by her two sons, Jason Neuman and Kent Neuman, Grandsons Cole and Dylan Neuman and her sisters, Gloria Townsend and Martha Gaspardino as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her two brothers, George Limoges and Daniel Limoges and former husband Karl Neuman.
Jan has been a long-time parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Concord and a woman of deep faith. She was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed attending theatre and dinners with her friends. She worked as a certified X-Ray Technician in Claremont and Concord for 10 years before she welcomed and cared for her sons. When they were grown, she became the welcoming face as Receptionist at Franklin Pierce Law School from 1987 – 2012. She was loved by students and faculty and she cared deeply for them.
Arrangements are being coordinated by Waters Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 180 Loudon Rd., Concord NH on Thursday October 17 at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Plains Rd., Claremont, NH.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Food Pantry, 67 South State Street, Concord, NH 03301 or Gerrish Manor, 325 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303 for resident’s activities fund.
