Springfield Police roundup

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — The Springfield Police Department pulled over a woman for driving without taillights on at night last week, and the operator is now facing charges for driving with a suspended license.

According to a report by the department, on Oct. 8 at 12:17 a.m. a Springfield patrol officer observed a vehicle driving without taillights activated. Vermont state law requires taillights to be on while driving at night, so the vehicle was pulled over.

The operator was Tanya M. Boisvert, who told the officer that her license was suspended. Police checked her license status, which verified that it was criminally suspended. Boisvert was issued a criminal citation to appear in the Windsor County Criminal Court on Dec. 16 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge of Criminal Driving with License Suspended.

Also on Oct. 8, at 11:18 a.m. police issued Edward Tyler a criminal citation to appear in Windham County Criminal Court for the charge of Arrest on an In-State Warrant. Springfield Police reported that Tyler was located walking on Main Street, and he was found to have an active in-state warrant.

Tyler appeared in Windham County Criminal Court on Oct. 9 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charges.
