LANGDON, N.H. — The Newport High School cross-country team came away with a victory at Fall Mountain on Oct. 17, with the Tigers topping second place Hinsdale and the third place Fall Mountain Wild Wildcats.
The individual race was won by Fall Mountain’s Matt Northcott, who was dominant with a time of 17:52. Bryce Palmer of Newport took second at 18:54. Lukas Pitta posted a personal record in the race with a time of 28:46, which was good for 15th overall.
