Gilford 26, Newport 12
Newport jumped out to a 12-0 first quarter lead after a couple of rushing touchdowns by quarterback Aaron Fellows, but Gilford came storming back with 26 unanswered points to earn the victory on Saturday at Maryn Field.
Gilford finally got on the board with just 10 seconds remaining in the first half on a 20-yard touchdown pass. The Eagles carried that momentum into the second half as they connected for another long touchdown pass to take their first lead of the night with 9:53 remaining in the third quarter. Gilford added two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter to secure an impressive victory in the regular season finale. Gilford and Newport both finished the season at 5-3, and they appear to be headed for a rematch at Gilford this weekend in the opening round of the playoffs.
No. 2 Woodstock 48, No. 3 Springfield 8

Wilson also scrambled for the two-point conversion.
Springfield finishes the season with a 5-4 record. While the Cosmos will lose key players Trevor Carl, Hunter Ferland, Dillan Lacasse, and Williams to graduation, they have a strong nucleus of younger players slated to return, led by Dmitri Jasinski and Josiah Martinez. Woodstock (8-0) will face fourth-seeded Otter Valley (5-4) in the Division 3 State Championship game.
