CLAREMONT, NH– Susan Ann Hassett, 68, of Claremont, NH passed away on November 5th, 2024 at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Hanover, NH.
She was born in Worcester, MA on January 7, 1956, the daughter of Francis Xavier Hassett and Dorothy Ann Stammers.
Susan graduated from River Valley Community College with two associates degrees. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #879 for 26 years serving as a bartender, a Secretary, and a Leading Knight. She was officer of the year in 2006-2007, and she received The President’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016 for her lifelong commitment to building a stronger nation through volunteer services.
She is survived by her 4 children: Amy Mahoney, Sonya Duff, Derrick Hentschel, and April Hentschel; 7 grandchildren: Michael Mahoney, Daemon Hentschel, Kyle Therrien, Brayden Robinson, Bradley Robinson, Aniyah Robinson, and Maelyn Hentschel; 1 great grandchild: Owen Mahoney; and 3 siblings: Denise Egbert, Dorothy Baril, and Kevin Thompson.
A memorial service will be held at Hope Hill Cemetery in Charlestown, NH on Friday, November 15th at 2pm.
