CLAREMONT, NH– Robert Clark Beauman, 86, passed away on December 7, 2019 in Arcadia, Florida.
He was born in Claremont, NH on March 12, 1933, the son of Elliott and Madeline (Smith) Beauman. He was a graduate of Stevens High School in the class of 1952.
He served in the US Air Force. He married Ann LaBounty on November 15, 1953.
Robert lived in Claremont for 55 years before moving to Florida in 1988. He had worked at Joy Manufacturing as a machinist for 28 years, retiring in 1988. He had been a member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion and the United Steel Workers of America.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Roberta (Robbin) Hood and her husband, Steven of Claremont; daughter-in-law, Jo-Ann Beauman of Newport; grandchildren, Heidi Hood of Claremont and Crystal Starkey and her husband, Robert Jr of Newport; two great grandchildren, Robert Starkey III and Tyrese Starkey; his brother, Gary Beauman and his wife, Marlene of Claremont.
He was predeceased by his son, Robert Beauman Jr; grandson, Robert Beauman III; his parents, older sister, Betty Goodwin and her husband, Bill and sister, Pamela Ladeau.
A memorial service will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Tuesday, November 19th at 11AM. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
