Possible missing child alert 

CLAREMONT, N.H. — The Claremont Police Department is actively searching for a possible missing child last seen in the Hanover and Elm Street areas. The child is described as wearing Spider-Man pajamas and has been observed running away when approached by officers. 

Our department deployed a K-9 unit to assist in the search. Officers have also been knocking on multiple doors along Hanover and Elm Streets to gather information and ensure a thorough search. We are receiving additional support from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, which is operating a drone, and the New Hampshire State Police. 

At this time, we have not received any reports from parents or guardians regarding a missing child. However, we are continuing our efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the child in question. 

A Genesis mass notification was sent out to residents in the area. If you received the alert, please remain vigilant and report any sightings or information.
