CLAREMONT, N.H. — Last month, the N.H. State Police Narcotics Investigation Unit made four drug arrests in Claremont, while also seizing considerable amounts of fentanyl and crack cocaine that police say was allegedly being sold by the defendants.
The State Police issued two reports on Dec. 5 about the arrests in the city, with the first pertaining to the arrests of Claremont residents Bradley Leblanc, 37, and Chasity Forman, 48.
On Friday, Nov. 8, Leblanc was arrested for three counts of sale of a controlled drug (subsequent offense) and one count of conspiracy to commit the sale of a controlled drug (subsequent offense).
Forman was arrested for one count of conspiracy to commit the sale of a controlled drug (subsequent offense).
More than 60 grams of suspected fentanyl, about two grams of suspected methamphetamine, and 13 assorted suspected narcotics pills were seized during the “monthslong” investigation into the sales of fentanyl.
Leblanc and Forman were booked and processed at the Claremont Police Department. They were released on personal recognizance bail with an arraignment scheduled for January 13 in Claremont District Court.
The N.H. State Police also reported that Claremont residents Joshua Poirier, 33, and Barbara Bellacicco, 33, were arrested for their alleged involvement in the sale of suspected fentanyl/heroin and crack cocaine.
On Monday, Nov. 25, Poirier was arrested on three counts of conspiracy to commit sales of a controlled drug and one count of sale of a controlled substance.
On Saturday, Nov. 30, Bellacicco was arrested on three counts of conspiracy to commit sales of a controlled drug.
Police seized more than five grams of fentanyl/heroin and more than 18 grams of crack cocaine during the investigation, according to the report.
Poirier and Bellacicco were booked and processed at the Claremont Police Department. They were released on personal recognizance bail pending arraignments in Claremont District Court.
Poirier is scheduled to appear on Jan. 13, 2025, and Bellacicco is due in court on Feb. 10, 2025.
The Claremont Police Department and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force (DTF) assisted the state police in the investigations, and the cases are being prosecuted by the Sullivan County Attorney’s Office.
