NEWPORT MIDDLE HIGH School students’ part of Future Health Professionals (formerly HOSA, Health Occupations Students of America) recently fundraised monies for Turning Points Network (TPN) of Claremont. Members of the student-led organization presented a check to Kelly Rochford Hague, senior prevention coordinator for TPN, early Friday morning, Jan. 17. All students are interested in the health care field and giving back to the community. A small proceed of this fundraiser went to purchasing blankets that were distributed to residents at Sullivan County Nursing Home.
