CLAREMONT, N.H. — A Claremont man allegedly crashed a vehicle while operating with a suspended license, and now he is facing a number of charges.
Shane Abbott, 42, of Claremont, was arrested by N.H. State Police on Jan. 20 for driving with a suspended driver’s license; false report of a motor vehicle accident; negligent driving; and driving an unregistered vehicle.
According to information provided by the state police, on Jan. 12 a trooper noticed a crashed vehicle on Mountain Road in Lempster. Abbott and two other men were seen in the area, and an investigation found that Abbott was the driver. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and Abbott turned himself into the trooper on Jan. 20 at the Claremont Police Department where he was bailed and released.
Abbott has a court date set for March 11 at the Newport District Court.
