BOW, N.H. — A 17-year-old from Claremont was one of two teenagers arrested by N.H. State Police over the weekend for allegedly driving more than 100 mph on Interstate 93 in Bow.
At about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Trooper Conor Davis reportedly saw a 2008 BMW 3 Series speeding down Interstate 93 northbound in Bow. Benjamin Goodell, 17, of Claremont was allegedly traveling 109 mph in a 65 mph zone, according to information released by Troop D of the N.H. State Police.
Goodell was summonsed to appear in Concord District Court for the charge of reckless operation.
On Sunday at 1:30 a.m., Trooper Davis saw a black 2013 Volvo S60 going 124 mph in Bow, as well. Davis caught up with the vehicle, and the driver turned the lights off. Davis got behind the car and the driver turned the lights back on and pulled over.
Aliza Johnson, 18, of Concord, was arrested for reckless operation and disobeying a police officer.
Johnson was released on personal recognizance and scheduled to appear in Concord District Court at a date to be named.
