Dawin E, Ayres

DRYDEN, NY–Mr. Dawin Edward Ayres, age 86, of Dryden, New York passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at his son’s residence in Silver Creek, Georgia.
Mr. Ayres was born in Sayre, Pennsylvania on September 20, 1938, son of the late Fred Ayres and the late Pauline Perkins Ayres. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Robert & Harold Ayres, and by a sister, Sheila Lansdawn. He was a member of Calvary Hill Church in New York. Prior to retirement, Mr. Ayres worked as the Food Service Director for Mount Sunapee Ski Resort, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. He was a member of the Edsel Club and the Newport, New Hampshire Rotary Club.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda Pauline Kilpatrick Ayres, to whom he was married on June 19, 1965; two daughters, Lisa Ayres and Dawn Ayres; a son, Edward Ayres (Karen); six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Maryline Cerniglia; two brothers, William & Gary Ayres; several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Ayres will be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in New York.
