Kearsarge alums playing college sports this winter

Basketball 

Hannah Goen, Mount Holyoke College 

The sophomore guard has started 20 out of 21 games this season for the Lyons, posting per-game averages of 6.7 points and 3.3 rebounds. Goen scored a career-high 20 points earlier this season during a 63-58 loss against Lesley University.   

Adison Whitty, Nichols College 

The sophomore guard has been a regular contributor for the Bison, appearing in 45 games over the past two seasons while averaging 11.5 minutes per game and 2.2 points per game. Whitty is also a member of the women’s lacrosse team at Nichols.  

Indoor Track & Field 

Kylin Frenkiewich, Saint Anselm College 

The sophomore runner is in her second season with the Hawks track & field program. Frenkiewich competed in the 1,000-meter run at the 2025 Riverhawk Invitational, placing 50th in 3:47.37. Frenkiewich also possesses collegiate personal records of 2:47.23 in the 800-meter run and 6:03.57 in the mile.  

Zach Hodge, Plymouth State University  

The junior sprinter recently posted Plymouth State’s fastest 400-meter time of the season when he finished sixth at Showdown at the Heights in 50.50 seconds. Hodge posted season-best times at the USM Husky Invitational in the 55-meter dash (7.11) and in the 200-meter dash (23.95). Hodge is also a member of the Panthers football team. 

Molly Ellison, William & Mary College 

The freshman distance runner has yet to compete for Division 1’s William & Mary College in Williamsburg, Virgnia. Ellison was a standout for Kearsarge, winning individual titles in the 1,600-meter run and the 3,200-meter run at the 2023 NHIAA Division 3 Track & Field Championships.  

Amelia Lefebvre, George Mason University 

The freshman high jumper joins Ellison as the other Kearsarge alum currently competing for a Division 1 school in Virginia. In her lone meet so far this season, Lefebvre cleared 4’7″ in high jump to place 16th at the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational. 

Nordic Skiing 

Marlia Richer, St. Lawrence University 

The senior skier finished 92nd at the St. Lawrence University Carnival Freestyle 20k earlier this winter. Richer earned USCSCA All-Academic team honors in 2023 and 2024.
