CLAREMONT, NH– On February 17, 2025 our beautiful sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Mary Ellen Sanders, took her journey to Heaven as one of God’s most special angels. Mary Ellen was a beloved member of the Sanders family – cherished daughter of Frank and Julia Sanders, dear sister to Jean Belaire, Kathy Wojciechowski, Norita Pacanza, Frank, John and Jim Sanders, and special aunt to 13 nieces and nephews.
Mary Ellen brought extraordinary beauty and joy to our world for 72 years with her wonderful sense of humor, her well-known gift for giving the perfect hug, and, most importantly, for how much she deeply loved her family. Mary Ellen loved us with absolute joyful exuberance, filling our hearts with love beyond compare.
Mary Ellen was especially fond of long car rides, trips to McDonald’s, doing cardboard puzzles, and going shopping with her special dollar bills, kept carefully in her green purse. Everyone she met was welcomed with a big smile, making them feel like a treasured friend.
While our time with Maryellen felt brief, her love and bright light will live in our hearts forever. We are truly blessed to have had her in our lives, and for the amazing love she brought to each of us. May she dance joyfully in Heaven with her mom, dad, sister Kathy, along with other cherished family members.
On Saturday, February 22 there will be a calling hour from 10:00 am– 11:00 am at Stringer Funeral Home followed by a Mass in Mary Ellen’s honor at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Claremont, N.H.
