CORNISH, NH– Rebecca (Becky) Pillsbury Flynn, 72, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.
Becky was born in Lebanon, NH on June 17, 1952 to the late Ernest Harland Pillsbury and Florence Alice Moulton. She graduated from Lebanon High School, in Lebanon, NH, class of 1970.
Becky started her working career at First National Store. She also did home childcare while her children were young. Becky then worked at Kimball Union Academy for 36 years; retiring in 2017.
Becky loved gardening, baking, watching the birds, and helping her husband on their farm. You could often find her working out in her vegetable and flower gardens, making her famous pickles and banana bread. Becky also loved her tea and had a passion for collecting tea pots. Becky also loved spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren and always putting everyone before herself.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Flynn; her children, Doug Illsley (Sara), Jen Illsley, and stepdaughter, Sandy Hodskins (George); grandchildren, Anna Illsley, Zachary Illsley, and Jack Hodskins.
Becky is predeceased by her parents; brothers, Harley Pillsbury, and Wayne Pillsbury; sisters, Elsie Roberts, and Iva Provencal.
