SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — A Springfield man was arrested for multiple charges after he allegedly broke a window and assaulted a resident of Stanley Street after refusing to leave the home.
Justin Fiske, 38, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Unlawful Mischief.
According to a report by the Springfield Police Department, on Feb. 3 at 5:21 p.m., Springfield Police responded to Stanley Road for a report of a physical altercation between two males. Responding officers interviewed witnesses, examined the scene and looked at digital documentation as part of their investigation.
The officers found probable cause to arrest Fiske for the charges at the conclusion of the investigation after it was found that he refused to leave the residence, assaulted the resident of the home and then broke the window.
Fiske was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, on March 18 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charges.
