The NH Commission on Aging selects an adult volunteer from each county to recognize their contributions to their community. The award recipients are honored at a reception at the Statehouse during Older Americans Month in May. Please take the time to nominate a volunteer from your community. Submissions are due March 14.
Anyone can make a nomination; nominees must be over the age of 60 who have made a significant contribution to their community as a volunteer.
Any type of volunteer work qualifies, from direct service to advocacy to leadership roles and more. The nominee must be someone whose volunteer work is in New Hampshire. If you know someone who deserves recognition in the program, don’t wait to let us know about it!

The Commission on Aging was established in 2019 to advise the governor and the general court on policy and planning related to aging. A more age-integrated New Hampshire fostered by forward thinking public policy and initiatives will ensure we can all thrive as we age.
