CLAREMONT, NH — Mrs. Jane Strembeck Stickney, age 73 of Claremont, NH passed away peacefully among loved ones, Thursday March 13, 2025. Born April 6, 1951 in Ashville, North Carolina to the late Jane and James Benjamin Davis. Jane was preceded in death by her husband Richard Stickney.
Jane loved to travel through Europe in her youth. She put much of her time into protecting animals in need through volunteering with the Humane Society. Jane loved caring and showing her horses Tara, Vanity Fair and her foal. Her later years were spent working at Sullivan County Health Care Facility caring for the elderly as a unit aid. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and her Rosalee. Jane adored Christmas and she always made it extra special for everyone.
Jane is survived by her step-son Trevor Stickney and wife, Rebecca Stickney, 2 grandchildren Autumn and Sean, sister in-law Betty Sipple and husband, Hank Sipple, sister in law Carolyn White and husband, David White, 2 sisters and 2 cousins, Judith Huntley and Jennifer Mcall, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The calling hours will be held at Stringer’s Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH on Monday July 14th from 6 to 8PM and burial service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Milford, NH on Tuesday, July 15th at 11AM.
