CLAREMONT, NH — The Conservation Law Foundation is excited to announce an upcoming community event focused on the transformative power of clean energy, land conservation, and building a healthy, thriving future for New Hampshire. The event will take place on April 30, 2025, at the Common Man Inn & Restaurant along the Sugar River from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
This event, emceed by former Mayor of Claremont Charlene Lovett, is free and open to the public. It will feature a documentary screening and panel discussion of “The Power of Water” by Bob King, a New Hampshire native and hydropower plant owner, who has spent over three decades reviving derelict dams and promoting clean energy solutions. King’s work showcases how individuals can make a significant impact on environmental conservation and clean energy.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the importance of land conservation and a sustainable energy future for New Hampshire from a panel of experts, including: Bob King, engineer and clean energy entrepreneur; Tom Irwin, CLF vice president of New Hampshire; Jeanie McIntyre, president at Upper Valley Land Trust; moderated by Doria Brown, energy manager for the city of Nashua.
