SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Since Dec. 1, 2024, the Springfield Humane Society has been holding the Heat the Shelter 50/50 raffle. The proceeds will help homeless pets stay warm at the shelter, and as of March 4, the jackpot is already up to $567.
The deadline is closing on April 1, but there is still time to get your tickets. Tickets are $1 each, $5 for six tickets or $10 for 12 tickets. The winner will take home half of the proceeds from the jackpot.
