HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RITA! Rita Moore turned 106 on Sunday, March 30. She was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, attending Lawrence schools and graduating in 1936. She married George Moore who was in the Navy. She came to Claremont in 1992 and lived with her daughter, Lillian Phaup. In 2021, she received the Boston Post Cane as she is the oldest person in Claremont. Hannaford of Claremont donated Rita’s special birthday cake.
