NEWPORT, N.H. — The Newport Police Benevolent Association will be hosting a special Touch-a-Truck event for 6-year-old Wyatt Lee, a first responder fanatic who is sadly battling Leukemia. This event is on Saturday, April 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the lower parking lot of Sugar River Bank in Newport. Police, fire and EMS departments from across the state will be bringing vehicles, patches, T-shirts and other memorabilia to give to Wyatt.
The event is free and open to the public. Steve Smith will be broadcasting this event live on WCNL. A DHART helicopter may even make a visit, depending on the conditions and call volume.
Please come join us for this very special event bringing awareness to pediatric cancer, and to thank the dedicated staff at Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth, David’s House and the Willy Perra Christmas Program that have given so much to Wyatt’s family.
