SCHS hosts Rabies Clinic on April 19 

NEWPORT, N.H. — The Sullivan County Humane Society is hosting a Rabies Clinic for dogs and cats. The event is taking place on April 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Newport Public Works Department located at 449 S. Main Street in Newport. This is a first come, first serve basis and each shot is $10. With proof of previous vaccination, shots will last three years, otherwise it will be a one-year shot. The dog and cat Distemper shot will also be available for $10. The Newport Clerk’s Office will be on site for Newport residents licensing. Dog licenses are due in May, so be sure to get your dogs and cats up to date on their vaccines.
