Johnny Folsom 4 brings the spirit of Johnny Cash to life at Claremont Opera House

CLAREMONT, N.H. — The historic Claremont Opera House will welcome Johnny Folsom 4, a tribute to the legendary Johnny Cash, for a one-night performance at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12.

From “A Boy Named Sue” to “Ring of Fire” and “Rusty Cage,” Johnny Folsom 4 delivers a faithful and energetic tribute to the Man in Black. Lead singer David Burney’s lilting Southern baritone has drawn comparisons to Cash himself, offering audiences an experience that feels authentic and reverent.

David Gresham provides the classic guitar licks made famous by Luther Perkins and Carl Perkins, while Randy Benefield (drums) and Steve Eisenstadt (bass) re-create the hallmark train-like rhythm that defined Cash’s sound.

As a historic performing arts venue and nonprofit organization, the COH relies on community support to continue presenting concerts, theater and other cultural events. Attending shows is the most direct and meaningful way to help ensure its continued success.

“When you buy a ticket, you’re not just coming to see a great show,” said Scott Hagar, executive director at COH. “You’re investing in the future of live performance in our community.”

Tickets start at $35 including fees. For more information and ticket purchases, visit cohnh.org to buy tickets online or call the Box Office at 603-542-4433.
