
TWENTY-TWO FALL Mountain Regional High School students along with staff advisor Mr. Josh Beer attended the New Hampshire National History Day state competition at Plymouth State University on Friday, April 11. Competing against public and private schools from across the state, Fall Mountain placed three projects in the top three of their respective categories and the students in first place will attend the national competition at the University of Maryland this June. In first place was the Senior Level Group Documentary by Keegan O’Connor, Maebel Dussault, Cerys Gascoyne, Tyler St. Pierre and Abby Jarvis, along with the Senior Level Group Performance by Sophia D’Alessandro and Olivia D’Alessandro. In third place was the Senior Level Group Website by Autumn Blanchard, Hailey Robichaud, Kailey Bania and Alycia Cheney. Beer was named the Senior Level New Hampshire National History Day Teacher of the Year. Since 2019, Fall Mountain has sent over 25 students to nationals.
