BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — Green Up Day in Bellows Falls will be held Saturday, May 3 from 9 a.m. to noon. Beautifying tasks include:
– Sidewalk sweeping
– Sidewalk chalk art
– Painting various hardware
– Cement brushing cement urns and stair side
– Evaluation of the fountain at Red Light Hill
– Lamp post bracket maintenance
– Snowflake storage
– Planter prep and spring planting
– Trash pick up
– Sit down work available: inventory/filing inside
Not available on May 3, but still want to help? Food donations to feed volunteers are always appreciated. Set-up begins at 8:30 a.m. and teardown begins at 12:30 p.m.
