CLAREMONT, N.H. — Local students and their families are encouraged to join the Claremont Historical Society for their inaugural Global Youth Service Day on Saturday, April 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. that will help prepare the Claremont History Museum for its upcoming season.
Global Youth Service Day is an annual worldwide youth participation event that asks all youth ages 5 to 25 to work together for the common good while also recognizing the impact youth make on their communities every day of the year.
Children 11 years and younger must have an adult present with them to participate. Children 12 years and older can participate solo. All participants must complete a waiver, which can be found online at claremonthistory.org/claremont-historical-societys-1st-global-youth-service-day.
There is very limited parking at the Claremont History Museum, which is located at 26 Mulberry Street in Claremont. Carpooling and walking is encouraged.
