SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — On May 24 and May 25, the Springfield Humane Society will be hosting their annual Memorial Day yard sale. The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Community Room in the shelter located at 401 Skitchewaug Trail in Springfield, Vermont. This event is really a win-win situation; by finding some great bargains, you can help homeless animals.
The Springfield Humane Society will be taking donations for this event starting April 1. No items will be able be taken before this date, and the cut off for donations in May 14. The items that cannot be accepted are clothing, shoes, non-working electronic items, most dishware, and any broken or dirty items. Furniture items will be accepted but approval and an appointment must be made before dropping these items off.
