BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — The Bellows Falls Terriers defeated the Springfield Cosmos on a very pleasant late Tuesday afternoon at Lawrence Hadley Field 14-1 in just five innings.
Terriers’ freshman Jacob Kissell was the winning pitcher relieved by Steven Joslyn. The Cosmos had their changes in the first with two runners on Bellows Falls’ with right fielder Jackson Fletcher making a fantastic catch to end the threat.
The Terriers scored early and often, leading 4-0 after two innings en route to the mercy win. Bellows Falls improved to 2-1 while Springfield falls to 4-0.
