The Bellow Falls Terrier ladies swept the season series from the Fair Haven Slaters with an exciting 3-2 victory.
The Slaters led the game 1-0 until the fifth inning when the Terriers scored three runs. Fair Haven added a run in the sixth but left two on base. Bellows Falls could have broken the game open in the fourth leaving the bases loaded.
Freshman Brielle Mulverhill had two hits for the Terriers and Izzy Stoodley was the game-winning pitcher, striking out five.
Bellow Falls improved to 3-1 while the Slaters fall to 0-5. The Terriers will travel to Otter Valley today while the Slaters are off until Saturday, May 3 on the road at Springfield.
