CLAREMONT, N.H. — Representatives from Comcast, along with members of the Claremont Senior Center, gathered to share actionable advice to stay safe online, refresh digital literacy skills, and provide tips to avoid phishing and other online scams to 15 local seniors. The attending seniors were also provided with new laptops from Comcast.
“We recognize that digital literacy is essential for success in today’s world,” said Dan Glanville, vice president of government affairs and community impact for Comcast’s New England Region. “We hope that this program provides helpful digital resources and impactful programming for participants.”
The laptop donations are part of Project UP, Comcast’s commitment to provide digital opportunities through programs and community partnerships that connect people to the internet, advance economic mobility, and open doors for the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, storytellers and creators.
